Hola from Cocoa Beach, FL! If you are looking to rescue a calm, sweet Schnauzer Mix boy, then I am the perro (dog) for you! My parents had to move into an apartment and were not allowed to take me with them. I am so thankful that SLR placed me with a great foster mama who attends to all my needs.

Let me introduce myself – My name is ‘Gordo.’ That translates to ‘fat’ in Spanish. I truly have no idea why my original family gave me that name, as I only weigh 17.5 lbs. I am diez (10) years young. I am black and have natural ears and a docked tail. I enjoy my walks in the neighborhood and on the beach. I enjoy meeting the local Floridians and the turistas. I enjoy rides in the auto (car) and taking
                                                  several naps a day in my nice round bed.

I had an accident several years ago that affected my left front leg. I hold it up as I run during my outdoor adventures. It does not stop me from enjoying my outdoor time. I have met some other nice perros on my walks. I would be fine as an only dog but would also be good with another friendly perro. I am house trained and have never needed a crate. My foster mama discovered that I am hard of hearing. I do react to loud noises – talk softly and I will ignore you unless I see a treat in your hand!
