Hello from Ocala, FL, the “Horse Capital of the World!” It is such a lovely city to visit with so many attractions – Ocala National Forest and Silver Springs State Park to name just a few. It is also a great place to be in foster care with SLR! I have such a wonderful home – A nice fenced in yard to roam in, other dogs to play with and even a cat or two! I was found roaming the streets and a shelter picked me up and contacted SLR. I really lucked out!

My name is Kelly. It is a surname of Irish origin. Even though a Schnauzer is known to be of German origin – I think everyone should have the Luck of the Irish. I am only 3.5 years old. I have natural ears and a docked tail. I weigh 15 lbs. I have beautiful salt & pepper coloring. I LOVE having other dogs in my foster home to play with. I am quite the sociable young lady. I am curious about the cats in the home but very cautious around them. I think I’ll stick to my canine friends!

I will let you know a secret – I LOVE to play. It can be with other dogs, children and/or adults. I am very much a lady – I am house and crate trained. I LOVE attention from my foster mom and anyone who may visit. My foster mom gives me some delicious cookies (treats). I enjoy them so much that she has given me the nickname of Cookie! I must have a fenced yard to run and exercise in and hopefully get to chase away some pesky squirrels.
