Buddy and Bailey are a very sweet, bonded pair in Tennessee and are looking for their forever home! Both are neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and absolute sweethearts! They were super pampered as baby schnauzers and were more accustomed to life as a prince or pampered gentleman. Thanks to their wonderful foster mom, they have learned to be the happy and outdoor-sniffing schnauzers they were meant to be. The number one thing to know about these two: even though they are only three years old, they are champion couch potatoes and snugglers. They are neutered, up-to-date on their vaccines and of course, heartworm negative.
They can be the only dogs in their new home or can go to a home with other easy-going dogs. Bailey does not do well with reactive dogs since he's bossy himself. Buddy gets along with all dogs.
Bailey weighs in at 21 lbs and is white; Buddy is 24 lbs and is black and silver; both need to lose a bit more weight. They have adorable floppy ears and docked tails. They are ok on a leash and need more practice; with consistency they can become expert leash walkers. They enjoy a fenced back yard, but it’s not mandatory. They bark some but could probably become accustomed to life in a condo or apartment. They are house-trained and will need continued focus on that when they move to their forever home. They ride well in the car and will sleep in their crate, but would much prefer to sleep with their humans.Their foster mom says that Bailey is major attention hog and snuggler. Buddy will happily lay in your lap for a long snooze. They are laid-back schnauzers that will need to watch their waistlines so short walks or backyard playtime are a must. These two are both very people-oriented and just want to be loved. They have beautiful, very soft, silky coats that require frequent brushing. They are great during grooming. They have not learned to play with toys but are showing interest in them. We have not evaluated them around children, but since they love people so much, if an adopter has kids, we will asses them for kids.
As you can see, these two are not only super adorable and sweet, they are wonderful pets for anyone who wants super snuggly schnauzers. They still need some training, and are loving and ready to go to a home with patient humans who want to spend time with them.
