Milo2
When you see Milo, your first reaction is likely to be, “What a handsome boy!” After you
are around him a while, you’ll likely say, “What a perfect little gentleman!” Milo is a 20 lb., 10 year old, salt and pepper schnauzer with natural ears and cropped tail. He is not on any medication and is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. He also recently had a dental and came back with a great report.

Milo3Milo came to SLR as an owner surrender. He is easygoing, not excitable at all and doesn’t bark much (yes, he definitely is a schnauzer hahaha). His foster home has a fenced yard and he loves it; it’s the first time he has ever had the freedom to explore and sniff to his heart’s content. He is house trained, and loves all people he meets. Despite being an only dog his entire life, he does great in his foster home, with a house full of schnauzers. He is not a fan of a crate, which is doesn’t need since he is so well-behaved. He’s a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly. He needs quiet when he eats with no clattering or loud noises. He doesn’t need toys, but he loves pets and rubs from his people. Milo’s forever home needs to be quiet and peaceful; he’s earned it. We have not tested him with kids or kitties, but he’s so laid back, we are betting he’d be Ok with both. But we can test if needed. He loves leash walks and time outside. He’s docile and sweet and the perfect fella for someone who wants a quiet, well-behaved special senior schnauzer. He can do fine at home alone while his person is at work, but he’d especially love someone who is home more often than not.
