Meet Pinky; a tiny little girl who has earned the nickname of Pixie in her foster home. As a happy little salt and pepper sprite, she has a fun-loving personality. Weighing in at only 13 lbs., she has adorable natural ears and tail. She is good with children, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. She even has a preferred side she likes to walk. She is 4 years old and really wants a fur brother or sister to play with and would especially love having a fenced back yard to run around in. She's got a big bark, so no condos or apartments for this tiny girl.
She is a bit skittish at first but warms up quickly. She loves to be loved. While her foster mom works in her home office, Pinky will hang out in her crate, but once the family moves to the living room, Pinky is right there with them, looking for cuddles and pets. This girl is a champion with dog toys, so bring them on. In fact, those are mandatory, to keep her interested in her things and not yours. She rides in the car ok and is getting more comfortable, especially if she can be near a human to comfort her.
She is a fast one, and will jump and run off for an adventure, so she needs a pet parent to be attentive to that. Of course, Pinky is up to date on her vaccines, dewormed, spayed and heartworm negative. She is ready for her forever home. If you can meet her needs – a fur brother or sister, a fenced yard and loving and patient adopters, please go to www.schnauzerloverescue.net and apply for this little pixie – Pinky in Tennessee!
