Hi! My name is Scottie. I am 4 years old and looking for a truly special home where I can be your one-and-only best friend. I was surrendered to an animal shelter when my human was put in assisted living. I am being fostered in Cumming, Ga. (north of Atlanta).My foster parents say I'm a very cute miniature schnauzer. I would like to have all of their attention, but they have 2 miniature schnauzers of their own. I am crate trained and do NOT get up on furniture (except when my foster parents put me on their lap). I am an average size for a male mini weighing in at 20 lbs. I like to sleep in a dog bed right beside my adults.
Forget the dog park drama and noisy pack life—I prefer peace and quiet with the company of my favorite humans (adults only, please!).I thrive when I can relax and enjoy a predictable routine. I am affectionate and loyal, and I promise to repay your dedication with endless cuddles, happy tail wags, and a deep sense of security.
My Ideal Home:-
Only Dog: I need to be the single pet in the household. I want all the attention, and frankly, other dogs are just too stressful for me.

Adult Household: A home without small children is a must, as I prefer the calm and consistent energy of grown-ups.

Best Activities: I am a great car rider; calm and well behaved. I have been a perfect potty-trained young man, with no accidents in my foster home. After taking a bit of time to grieve my original owner, I decided that I enjoy chew toys and like to play with stuffed dog toys. I am very good at being brushed and groomed, and I don't mind taking a bath.
