Jersey has free roam of the house, she is crate trained and will go into her crate on her own. She is an Alpha wanna-be but gets along great with the foster's 10 year old Schnauzer. She can probably be an only dog but may have some anxiety at first. Jersey is fed an Rx food. She previously had been fed a poor diet which elevated her liver enzymes. Now that she is on her prescription food and a daily 1/4 tablet of Denamarin, her liver enzymes have improved.
Jersey’s favorite past time is to look out the window to keep up on what is going on in her neighborhood. She loves riding in a car (even to the vet)! She can be a nipper when taking away an item she should not have (foster's socks)! She is learning to release the item when told. Jersey is not a big 'toy player.' She will bark to let you know if someone is getting too close to her foster home! A fenced yard would be Jersey's dream home. When first meeting the foster’s dad, she was a little standoffish. Once she settles in (10 minutes) she understands a man can also be friendly to her.
