Ariana (Ari) is being fostered in FL. She is only 5 years old. She has a beautiful black coat. This young lady weighs in at 15 lbs. She has natural ears and a docked tail. She is house trained. The foster continues to work on her leash training. When she sees her leash come out, she gets over excited and will jump around and get a little nippy when trying to connect the leash to her harness.
The vet states that Ariana has perfect teeth - she is in excellent health. The foster does not crate her. She is fine when going for car rides. Ariana loves to play with all of her toys - both soft and squeaky ones.
Ariana needs an adopter who is dog experienced. She loves her ‘people’ and does not care to share them with other dogs or children as she can be quite bossy. She is super sweet but needs you to build up trust at first. She doesn’t care to be picked up - which is fine as she has mastered her doggy stairs to get on the couch and snuggle up next to you. If you stop petting her - she will reach for your hand - the foster calls it her ‘scoopy hand.’ Ariana would love a home where her owner(s) are home the majority of the time. She has only been left alone for (4) hrs. at the most. She needs a fenced yard as she enjoys going outside a few times a day to get her ‘sun time’ in. Ariana is a ‘treat machine.’ She LOVES her treats throughout the day and will come running when she hears you getting a treat for her and the other dogs in the house.
